Due to gas pipe works, part of the London Road cannot be used to access The Cart & Horses. Access to Pudding Lane will be maintained on both sides of the closure – however, it is not really suitable for diverted traffic. The official diversion takes traffic onto the A34, A272 and A31 around the eastern edge of Winchester and through the city centre.
