We host a range of events here at The Cart & Horses, working alongside a line-up of local creatives, artists, and independent businesses. Designed with a range of options, from taking time out with mindful yoga to getting creative as part of the hand-craft events, there is something for everyone to get involved with.
Watercolour monograms
Friday 6th June, 10am-12.30pmCome and spend a relaxing two and a half hours learning how to paint a beautiful monogram, decorated with a selection of delicate flowers.
Join expert tutor, Alison Jane, in our gorgeous Secret Garden for this special workshop in which you will create your very own piece of artwork!
Perfect for beginners and beyond, this session teaches essential watercolour techniques to paint floral illustrations and create an illustrated monogram of your own choosing.
All materials are included, along with a refreshing tea/coffee and a delicious mid-morning treat. And why not book a table for lunch afterwards for the ultimate indulgence!
WORTHY WHEELERS CC & THE CART & HORSES RIDE OUT
Saturday 7th June, Saturday 5th July, Saturday 2nd August - 9AMJoin us for the next instalment of our epic ride outs, in partnership with the local Worthy Wheelers Cycling Club.
Starting with us at 9am for coffee and a pre-cycle chat before heading out at 9.30am on a mighty 70k loop of the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Then join us back at the pub for post-ride analysis over refreshments and a warm-up by the log fire!

Cocktails & Calligraphy
Wednesday 2nd July, 7.30-9.30pmJoin Alison Jane for a fun, laid-back evening sipping on cocktails and painting your very own cocktail illustration in our Secret Garden!
During the workshop, you will learn how to draw, paint and letter your favourite cocktails. You can choose which cocktails to illustrate and how many to include creating your very own personalised piece of artwork!
All resources needed for the session will be provided. And within your ticket price, you will also receive a deliciously refreshing signature cocktail (non-alcoholic options available) to sip on whilst you create your masterpiece!
