Designed with a range of options, from taking time out with mindful yoga to getting creative as part of the hand-craft events, there is something for everyone to get involved with.
Trio of Macrame Christmas Tree Decorations Workshop
Wednesday 3rd December, 7-9pmAdd a unique element to your tree this festive season; join our Trio of Macrame Christmas Decs Workshop with Mac and Weave!
Whether you're a seasoned macrame artist or a total beginner, Char will guide you throughout the session, to ensure you leave with decorations that add the perfect personal touch to your Christmas tree.
During the workshop you'll create three decorations: a charming Christmas Gonk, a delicate knotted bauble, and a mini festive wreath.
Everything you need to make your three decs is included, along with a delicious seasonal tipple (or non-alcoholic alternative).

Join us for the final ride out of 2025, in partnership with the local Worthy Wheelers Cycling Club (WWCC).
Starting with us at 9am for coffee and a pre-cycle chat before heading out at 9.30am on a mighty 70k loop of the beautiful Hampshire countryside. Then join us back at the pub for post-ride analysis over refreshments and a warm-up by the log fire!

Relax & Paint: Bauble Painting Workshop
Tuesday 9th December, 7-9.30pmBegin the festive season with a calm, creative evening.
In this relaxed 2.5-hour workshop, you will learn simple yet beautiful painting techniques to decorate three ceramic baubles – perfect to hang on your tree, gift to loved ones, or keep as a special memory.
Ideal for beginners and beyond, this gentle session is the perfect way to unwind and feel festive before the Christmas rush begins. We will also indulge in a delicious glass of something festive to embrace the spirit of the season!
All materials and a festive tipple included (non-alcoholic option available).
Additional baubles will be available on the night for £3 each.

Acoustic pop duo, Mackenzie and Duncan, originate from the Hampshire and Berkshire border, and are firm favourite at the pub with their captivating and energising performance style. Their dynamic live sets feature a diverse repertoire of beloved songs, spanning both classic hits and contemporary favourites. And they will definitely throw a few well-known Christmas classics into the mix. So swing by for a fabulously festive Saturday night!
Community Christmas Choir & Carols
Friday 19th December, from 7.30pmWho doesn’t love a traditional festive sing-along! And in the true spirit of Christmas, we are so pleased this year to be welcoming Reverend Paul and his local choir group to lead us through a wonderful evening of good old festive favourites and Christmas classics. Everyone welcome – enthusiasm is the only requirement – so grab your loved ones, gather round our piano, with mulled wine in hand, and join us for the perfect evening full of Christmas cheer!
New Year’s Eve
Wednesday 31st December, from 6pmLet’s see in the New Year together! This year, embrace a traditional, cosy celebration, Cart & Horses style.
We love being part of this community, and we want to share the arrival of 2026 with all our local friends and neighbours! There’ll be live entertainment, a delicious, tailored menu of classics and special dishes for those who want to indulge; and a hand-selected lighter bites menu for those who just want to graze. The bar will be open, with drinks flowing all night and a sparkling countdown to the special hour. Booking recommended, but walk-ins welcome – the more the merrier!
